Programs: Travel Teams

Our travel teams are a reward for those players who demonstrate next level skill, elite attitudes and work ethic.  We look for those who are ready to step up to the challenge and play against top notch competition off the island. 

This summer  we are excited to announce that NLBT will be taking a U12 Girls, U13/14 Girls and a U13/14 Boys team to Montreal July 26-28, 2024 to compete in the ST-EX Basketball Tournament.

Those eligible to tryout are any NLBT players who are currently registered for the winter/spring session in any program or who were registered with NLBT in the fall or summer 2023. All players must register for the tryouts and pay a $25 tryout fee.   

U12 Girls tryouts:

eligible if born between Sept - Dec 2011, Jan - Dec 2012 or Jan-Dec 2013

Tryouts dates:

Sunday, April 28 - 10:00-11:45am - Waterford Valley High School

Sunday, April 28 - 4:30-5:30pm - Waterford Valley High School

U13/U14 Girls tryouts: 

U13 eligible if born between Sept - Dec 2010 or Jan - Dec 2011

U14 eligible if born between Sept - Dec 2009 or Jan - Dec 2010

Tryout dates:

Sat, April 20 - 10:30-11:30am - Paul Reynolds Community Centre

Sun, April 21 - 12:00-1:45pm - Waterford Valley High School

U13/U14 Boys tryouts:

U13 eligible if born between Sept - Dec 2010 or Jan - Dec 2011
